COVID-19 Update:

Due to the COVID-19 social distancing requirements, from 30 March 2020 until further notice, the Town’s Council meetings will be held using the online meeting platform Zoom. This has been made possible due to amendments to the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, which came into force 25 March 2020.

The Town will still facilitate Public Question Time and Deputations, however, participants are now required to submit their questions and deputations to by 3pm on the day of the meeting. The question or deputation will be read out and responded to in the minutes.The public is invited to participate in all meetings by downloading Zoom and entering the meeting ID and password.

Attending a Council meeting

Members of the public are invited to attend Council meetings.

Community members are welcome to ask questions and make deputations during the allocated time.

Agenda Forum

An Agenda Forum is held every third Tuesday of each month. The meeting allows elected members to discuss items in a public forum and leads to effective decision making. The meeting provides a chance for elected members to request additional information and clarification. Formal decisions are not made at this forum. Members of the public are invited to attend and ask questions

Ordinary Council Meeting

An Ordinary Council Meeting is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Council makes formal decisions at Ordinary Council Meetings. These meetings are open to the public. The Mayor presides over the meetings and runs them in accordance with the provisions of the Town’s Meeting Procedures Local Law 2010.

Audit Committee

The Audit Committee is responsible for overseeing auditing, corporate governance and risk management. An Audit Committee is generally held quarterly

Special Council Meeting 

Special Council Meetings can be called to discuss a particular item of business. The meetings are held on an as-needs basis throughout the year.


National Relay Service

People who are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment can call the Town of Mosman Park through the National Relay Service.

Solar Power at the Administration

The Town of Mosman Park has installed solar panels (photo voltaic cells) on the roof of the Administration building. We’re producing power and reducing carbon emissions.
