Wellington Street night works to start 26 April

Essential road resurfacing works from 26 April to 3 May will have major impact to people who use or live along Wellington Street. The roadworks will take place from 7pm-6am between Edith and Solomon Streets.

Night works are necessary to ensure safety for contractors and efficiency of works. If there no unforeseen delays, the works will complete by 3 May.

Important information if you park your car on Wellington Street:

  • There will be no access to street parking from 7pm-6am between Edith and Baring Streets during the works period (26 April-3 May).
  • Your vehicle must be moved from the above area by 7pm each night to ensure safe passage through the work site.
  • Any cars still parked on the road during the working hours are at risk of being damaged by loose stones and material generated during the work process.
  • We ask kindly that you seek alternate parking during the working hours so as to not interfere with the works.
  • Our contractor cannot guarantee that no damage will occur to parked cars along Wellington Street between 7pm-6am.

Location of the road works:

Other important things to note:

  • For the safety of contractors, residents, and other road users, road closures and detours will be in place while works are happening.
  • Noise and vibrations are inevitable but we will do our best to minimise this as best we can, particularly from 8pm-5am.

These essential works also saw a long stretch of McCabe Street revitalised in March, and are part of our road resurfacing project that aims to improve traffic safety and extend the life of well-used roads in Mosman Park.

We understand that roadworks can be disruptive, however we appreciate your support and understanding while we improve local roads for the benefit of our community.

Any changes to timeframes or other information will be updated at mosmanpark.wa.gov.au/roadresurfacing
