The Town is pleased to advise that repair works for Green Place jetty are to commence Monday 18 January 2021. The goal is to complete the repairs no later than Wednesday 3 February 2021.

Below is the proposed week by week sequence of events:

• Week 1 - Commence dismantling sections of jetty for repair and start installing new jetty piles.
• Week 2 - From Wednesday; Finish any pile install required and reinstate jetty.
• Week 3 - Contingency of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to complete works if required.

During the works the jetty will be strictly off limits due to its partially dismantled state to allow the repair to happen. Temporary fencing will be in place at the entrance to the jetty along with signage indicating as such and we ask that you do not try to access the jetty during this time.

The works is to occur between 7am and 5pm each day and unfortunately there will be unavoidable noise when installing the new piles.
