Stephen Goode to Step in as Interim CEO at Town of Mosman Park

The Town of Mosman Park has engaged the services of a highly-experienced professional to guide the administration through its transitionary period in the lead up to the departure of current CEO, Mark Goodlet.

Stephen Goode, former CEO at the Town of Claremont, has accepted a temporary assignment to lead the organisation, commencing on 25 February 2019, and staying on until the new CEO is appointed, which is expected to take place in May 2019.

Mayor Pollock said he was very pleased to have the expertise and experience of Mr Goode to draw upon as the Town plans a busy year ahead.  Mayor Pollock explained that Mr Goode was well known to Council through his prior leadership role at the Town of Claremont, remarking that the Town would be in safe hands as the search for the new CEO begins.

“Stephen has decades of leadership and management experience and is very familiar with region-wide issues we face here in Mosman Park, including waste management and recycling, transport, roads and infrastructure and service delivery,” Mayor Pollock said.

He said that Mr Goode would be supported by the Town’s experienced and capable management team, and that he expected the management transition at the Town to be seamless.

Mr Goode retired in May 2018 from his role as CEO at the Town of Claremont, but said he was pleased to accept the assignment in Mosman Park to continue a happy and constructive relationship forged over many years.

Mr Goodlet will take up his new role as CEO at the City of Nedlands in late February 2019.
