When: Sunday, 25 August 2019

On Sunday 19 May, the Lego Mini-Masters building competition was held at the Wellington Street Scout Hall, with all money raised going to Mosman Bay Sea Scouts.

Conceived, organised (with a little help from Mum and Dad) and compered by Mosman Bay Cub Scout, Oisín Harrison, a fantastic afternoon of Lego building was enjoyed by all.

Two age groups competed for a prize of a Lego set for each team member.  Pre-primary to Grade 2 kids had 1 hour to build a vehicle of their choice.  The winners were Lucas Till and Jack Allen.  Grade 3 to Grade 6 kids then had an hour and a half to build a space themed creation.  A very close contest was won by Toby and Sam Albrecht.

The response to this first event was so enthusiastic, Oisín and the Mosman Bay Sea Scout group will be holding another Lego competition on Sunday August 25, again at the Scout Hall at 70 Wellington Street, Mosman Park.  This time there will be five age groups, pre-primary to grade 2, grade 3 & 4, grade 5, grade 6, and high school age.  The competition will be held from 10am to 6pm with age groups spread over the day.
